Hey hackers, is your team writing any Cron Jobs that can be automated?

I am working on a product called Microbots. The idea behind Microbots is to help companies automate their customer engagement journeys using data directly from your database.

We are still in an early stage and would love to get some feedback from HN.

cron automates running scheduled tasks. What further automation does it need? Automate automation? What does that have to do with automating "customer engagement journeys?" Automation seems like the opposite of engagement from a customer perspective.
