Status LEDs should be only bright enough to be obvious, they should be frosted/opaque, and should only be Red, Orange, Yellow, or Green. Retina searing water-clear blue and violet LEDS have no business being used for any status light anywhere. Even in bright light, the better choice would be bright green due to the eye's sensitivity being maximum in the green. |
