HR and company bureaucracy work constantly to remove agency from all workers at many companies, including interviewers. In any case I've seen, the actual people who will be working with the person don't care about the HR stuff at best, and at worst it actively interferes with them efficiently hiring good candidates. Seeing stuff like this just a red flag it's a shitty company, or at least a bureaucracy (there are some that appeals to) that doesn't value individual agency of job candidates or hiring teams |
