Regular Giraf user here who has gotten a ton of value from it!

I describe Giraf to friends as: "Kind of like Goodreads, but for all media including books, movies, tv shows, articles, even YouTube videos. Independently developed, no ads, no purpose other than sharing and learning about cool stuff. I also use it to keep track of things I may want to tell people about later."

For me, texts from friends recommending a book, movie or whatever tend to get lost in the daily shuffle and I never come back to them. Giraf's fully async design means I can pop open the app the moment I decide to find something new. And I love that that's the only purpose of the app, so I don't get sucked into weird rabbit holes of unrelated recommendations and end up wasting time using it. Two thumbs up, heartily recommend!
