Yes, I have /opt/firefox-1.2.3 with the various binary downloads, and I have a symlink /opt/firefox which gets updated to point to the latest release. I tend to see new releases announced on lwn.net, and this site, so I just make sure I download it a day or two later so that I'm always current. |
