I can't believe you can still get 10 (scratch that, 15 after the latest amendment to prohibited persons signed this summer) YEARS in jail for licensed medical patient to own a joint next to a .22 squirrel rifle. Firearms rights and pot freedoms fall politically on opposite sides of the political aisle so I have no real hope that's going to be fixed in the near future. There's no bipartisan incentive. |
