I always thought DevOps the “function” just meant this, and being a DevOps engineer at a small company meant you did these with decreasing emphasis, where by the time you’re in the backend it’s just helping enforce logging, tracing, other observable components. Has worked for me in hiring and being hired and almost everyone I know understands this. |
