Use https://www.pci-proxy.com/ which will allow you to switch from Stripe to your own merchant account to any other service you want at any time. This has been a life saver to me when dealing with significant cardholder transactions. They handle all of the PCI-Compliance for you.

Yes this is a proxy tokenizer. This is from the KillBill FAQ: Don’t store sensitive data in Kill Bill. While most plugins have support for directly saving card or bank account numbers for instance, this should only be used for testing purposes or if you use a proxy tokenizer: if you don’t, use a third-party vault.
