I have a high-end laptop and opening a few tabs from various sites on the Internet will cause the CPU usage and fan speed to spike. Just for a few tabs! Obviously not all sites do this, but the web has become a framework of advertising monstrosity and I can barely navigate and consume much of today's web content without enabling Reader Mode. |
