Land Value Tax would fix this problem:
http://gameofrent.com/content/is-land-a-big-deal UBI without LVT is probably inflationary, but LVT would provide a pretty natural mechanism for funding such a thing, and is the natural policy for preventing it from causing inflation, particularly in the housing sector. |
