I think this is very cool. I haven't used financial trackers lately. But I do remember one frustration I had with Mint.com was the inability to edit the categories of certain transactions in a wholesale manner and then adding rules for future instances. This was like 5-6 years ago; it could be fixed right now.

Thank you so much!! I had similar frustrations with Mint. I feel like they got complacent and haven't updated much over the years, can't blame em though after a big success haha.

Amazing feedback though I've heard this many times. I'm trying to tackle the infrastructure / compute layer first, get an intuitive UI for playing with the data, and then build out the customizations on the individual user level for modifying transactions and such. So that piece will likely come last but I have a pretty detailed spec drawn out on how I think I can handle that with transactions rules, categorization schemas, and plaids api. (I've watched how lots of people tried to tackle this problem haha)
