These AI tools tend to verbatim copy existing content without permission, so it's not really your content. Machine learning learns the statistical relationship of words and sentences in a way that preserves meaning, but that meaning originates from an actual writer. It's their work you are plagiarizing. For art I think plagiarizing is forgivable, because that's what art is, you take things, you mix them up, you get surprising results, it's all an experiment. But for actual communication please don't waste my time using an AI to blow up your prompt to thousands of words, especially because you may end up communicating something you never intended. |
