Ask HN: Why don’t we have good Open Source Calendars?

I’m jumping through a lot of hoops for something that I assumed to have already been built by the collective effort of well meaning developers

There is a calendar integrated into Thunderbird [1][2] Or if you just wanted to see days/weeks/months in a table there is the cal command in Linux. cal or cal -3 or cal -y
