More adoption? I don't know about europe but here in the US the Apple watch is ubiquitous - perhaps more apparently than really because the square design is immediately recognizable, whereas competitors' smart watches are mostly round. For a product to sell well in the future, lots of people need to be seen using and enjoying it in the present.

Fitbit is similarly ubiquitous; the ~$150 Fitbit Charge 5 does most of the health stuff found in the ~$400 Pixel watch.
