You don't have to code for a living. I can code and have been doing so about as long as you (albeit less seriously), but I came to the conclusion that for me coding is like fiction writing: I am really, really good at it, but coding is a creative endeavor for me and I cannot do it for a living, be it at a job or as a business. Solo one off projects, things for my own use, or passion projects only. I'd recommend looking at switching fields to something where the knowledge of how to code is a benefit but that doesn't directly involve coding. E.g technology law and policy. |
