I was wondering how it went from "Fuks" to "Few-Sha" - and apparently that was via Latin: > Leonhart Fuchs (German: [ˈleːɔnhaʁt ˈfʊks] ... sometimes spelled Leonhard Fuchs and cited in Latin as Leonhartus Fuchsius TIL... that flower fews like Fuschius? |
