I always say the Turkish Lira follows the Argentina pattern with lag -3.5 years.
https://www.investing.com/currencies/usd-ars It is all about bad governance and leadership... Look at Argentina with half population and 3x more cultivatable. Don't surprise to see the parity >= 80 TRY / 1 USD in 2 years! |
