Just as often, arts gets the short shift. Art in a "STEAM" program is likely to be more like design (Photoshop, logo design, etc). I think it's a bunch of enthusiastic education administrators who don't spend much time in schools, but think they can make science fun and art more business friendly if they find a bit of synergy. |
