I use Neovim because I used Vim before it. I used Vim because every GUI editor was an ugly, siloed proprietary mess that was mostly just wrapped around a bunch of open source command line tools, while Vim was an ugly, open source, programmable mess that was mostly just wrapped around a bunch of open source command line tools. |
