Frankly i am quite hopeful for 10 years. Still not sure if/when i want them driving, but these versions of SD make me feel like they're entirely dumb yet feature rich (almost). Ie i never really thought we'd get to the point where you could tell a computer to do something like in the movies without the computer _also_ seeming intelligent at the same time. The thought of the computer being very capable but still no more smart than my terminal is.. interesting. |
