Just checked his channel and a few hundred views on each video. Can one really make a living off that?

Probably not but it’s still a shit view from OP. I know lots of startup founders than burn a year with a failed idea who only get praise.

Possibly a very modest one. I know of a couple of small streamers with few but very loyal fans. The views on their VODs or YouTube videos is a very poor indication of their economic success.
