Yes, I think it's about Adblock. Chrome has a huge percentage of the browser market (they killed ie/edge as non chromium options!) and will never be as hedgemonic as now. So now is when you strike back at ad blockers if you're an ad company. I don't see any other reason for the features they killed to be killed. Specifically the preload hooks that ad blockers used. |
