Element funds the project, but the point is that the folks working on TR would not otherwise be working on general Matrix improvements. There are more than enough people working on improving Matrix proper. Also, Third Room is already enormously helping drive awareness and attention to Matrix which then helps us get more funding to improve Matrix as a whole. |
