A DMCA notice might be faster, assuming they're violating your license in some way.

"Unfortunately" they don't. It's BSD 3-clause and I don't think the 3rd clause of the license regarding endorsement applies to this case.

I wonder if the KeePassXC team has a trademark on their name. If so, they'd have legal grounds to get it taken down. Not via DMCA, but still...
