I interviewed at a defense contractor once and the project sounded interesting. They were under a serious schedule crunch and the interviewer told me I could expect to work 60 hours a week for the next 18 months without any overtime.

I told him I didn't want to waste any more of his time and did I need an escort out or could I find my own way.
