No mention of Grenadier apples, unfortunately. Perhaps understandably so. They're impossible to find in most shops due to them not storing well and being quite ugly. We have a tree in our garden and the apples are outstanding for pies, crumbles, cobblers, and Charlottes. They can hold their shape well, or turn to a delicious purée if cooked longer. |
