I keep hearing this term 'fireside chat' used like this, and ever time there's no actual fire and it's not intimate (10k viewers?). What is it supposed to mean?

I believe it's a reference to President Roosevelt's ["Fireside chats"](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fireside_chats) radio addresses during the 30's-40's
It's just a hipsterism for "interview of a CxO".
