Still surprised that nobody's made the connection to FileMaker. FileMaker actually predates Hypercard (depending how you define it), and is similar to the point where you can still find Hypercard->FileMaker conversion tools. Filemaker is also screens + controls + simple scripting language (albeit not quite as easy to grasp as HyperTalk/Applescript), and is wildly popular for an audience similar to that of Hypercard users. |
