Even in MN where the case for policing alternatives could not be stronger we see little action 2 years after George Floyd's murder. I'll be telling my grand children we had a chance to make a more just world, but the slave catchers still demand their pound flesh from mayors, governors, and from our society and no alternative that diminishes that influence and firehose of money will be condoned. It was never more clear to me how the voting public is manipulated in this country than watching the Department of Public Safety ballot initiative fail. |
