What is unhealthily about eating plants you ask? :) Well plants make their own herbicides, pesticides, fungicides and other poisons to stop insects (and us humans) from just going around and eating them. We bathe these plants in our own poisons too like the herbicide glyphosate (known as "Roundup") to keep the wheels on the road. There is a massive subreddit named carnivore centered on resolving auto immune issues caused by plant toxins leaking from leaky guts of their members. Plants may well be causing the majority of auto immune issues in society and the science is slowly catching on. Then there is the problem of stopping plants from rotting before they reach our plates and how to sanitize them. Radiation processes are used here on many plants. Some plants are man made. Lemons for example. Others have been bred and developed to become supersized and full of sugar. While meat is extremely nutrient dense compared to plants. It has not changed in tens of thousands of years. Our bodies are built to eat it. Cows take 1/10th of the water per calorie to farm compared to plants. Cows who have seaweed added to their feed have reduced greenhouse emissions of 80%. Mega corps are going to have a hard time weaponizing meat against us, compared to genetically modifiying plants and messing around with our food. |
