The rest of this silly argument aside: the USAF flies millions of tons of humanitarian aid as a PR move for itself (helping justifying the existence of a standing "professional" military, a relatively new thing for the US) and to further the foreign policy interests of the United States. It's not altruistic, it's strategic to the core. |
