Can they at least let me make it smaller? I did the workaround with the registry setting, but it cuts off some of the time and date.

My complaint is almost the opposite. I don't want to see the time and date at all. No way to disable it in Windows 11 (found some open source utility to do this, but it was quite clunky). Really strange decisions by Microsoft.
