The only "benefit" you cite for the user is lower cost of entry, but the total cost of using the software over time is higher, so that's not a clear benefit. From a user's point of view, SaaS does have some other benefits, certainly, but it also comes with some rather large drawbacks. So it seems to me that, on the whole, it all just adds up to software costing more. |
