I had not even thought about the ability to connect my iPhone with my Ubuntu machine. But it seems like I need to look a bit more into the possibilities. I already use digiKam for my photography workflow. It is really awesome for managing photos, adding tags etc. For importing photos I actually use Rapid Photo Downloader in order to import photos into "date-ordered" folders. So if I can get Ubuntu to recognise my iPhone then I can probably use the same to import photos from my phone if I ever need that ability. |
