I don't think consoles like allowing interrupted code from end users. They just end up being a huge attack surface area, either for DRM exploits or attacks on other users. Nintendo pull a game for having a hidden Ruby interpreter a few years ago. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2019/05/game-with-hidden-ruby... I wonder if this version of Factorio supports the console. You can execute LUA from the console, so I imagine it's disabled on the switch. |
