Quote interesting, it does seem, however, that averages are destroyed by outliers.. it seems that people are quite unreasonable in the amount of money they demand for relatively minor things.. Such as leaving a city, over 50 million usd? really? wtf? They're sprinkled over the entire planet and no single one is SO MUCH better than other top tier cities..

Other things, like roussian roulette is kind of too low.. average of $204.921.322.. you're (I assume) 50/50 on ending your life. .that should approach priceless (I chose 900 million)

On the third hand.. $18.042.936 for eating a cocroach ?wtf, only multimillionaires playing this game? that's an easy task with very low risk..

Totally agree with that...

I think that people isn't very honest answering the questions and tend to overrate some things xD But it's quite difficult to manage that...

Thank you for give it a try ! :)

Given the log-slider, a log-average would probably make more sense. As in, take the log of all responses, average those, and raise the average to the power of 10.

That makes sense intuitively too - it feels like $10k is twice as 'big' an amount of money as $1k is

I think it'd be more interesting to show a distribution chart rather than any type of average or mean.
Russian roulette usually has one bullet in six chambers, so based on a 1/6 likelihood of death, 200M is pretty close to your 900M for 50/50.
Well, I figured you'd have to play the game to the end, meaning someone dies? I also assumed that it'd be a 2 vs 2 game :)

Come to think of it, I'm not entirely sure I'd do it for any amount of money actually.
