My impression is a bit different. I know a bit of Rust, and used to know C++98 inside out, but moved to more functional languages 15 years ago. I recently added a Rust keyword to my LinkedIn profile and Who's Hiring threads, just to test the waters. Many EU companies of all sizes got in touch with really interesting proposals. It's a systems programming language, so there are lots of problem domains it can cover. |
