I had a LAN party at my house in 2012 and one lunatic brought his 1KW+ PC and tripped a breaker which has seemed really twitchy ever since.

Circuit breakers do degrade after being tripped. Once usually isn't enough, but repeated tripping will wear them out.

You should have an electrician check the wiring too. You might be leaking a little current due to decaying insulation.

If you have to wire a room, ask for a larger gauge of wire so have the option of a larger breaker if you want it.
