I'm part of the 99.5% of non-airbnb investors Arrived is ostensibly trying to expand to. I like the potential of micro-investment, but right now it's not socially tenable for me personally to tell my friends I'm an Airbnb investor.

Airbnb's biggest personal impact for myself and them has not been as a vacation vendor, but as an entity radically transforming our neighborhoods and access to housing. Does Arrived have any standard in terms of community impact?

We look for properties that are in high tourist and vacation destinations. With this model we think a lot more people can invest together, in some cases 500-1,000 in one property. Right now those same vacation properties are traditionally owned by one person.
