Get a new job and start saving to protect yourself going forward. You need at LEAST 6 months of saving. Don't bother waiting for unemployment (there's a chance you won't get it so don't rely on it). Start the rebuild immediately. >hope to work for myself one day Sure, but sometimes it takes a bit of time to get things going and you really need a savings buffer. TLDR: Don't stay at this company that doesn't appreciate you. Onwards! |
