Layering. I live in Canada, where it gets quite cold. I live in an old, drafty house. Like, the wind literally whistles through it. The temperature is kept at 18°C during the day. We wear our wool socks, fleece-lined pants, and several layers of shirts. It absolutely sucks — but it isn’t the end of the world. Edit: TIL that 18°C is positively balmy compared to how some run their houses! |
