> We need a framework that will not tie components and libs to itself, so they can be used with other frameworks or with plain ts as well. That's why I wish web components would see greater adoption. Having worked through jQuery, Backbone, Sencha ExtJS, AngularJs, Angular 2 and React over the course of a 15 year career, It's frustrating when you can't switch frameworks because the cost to rewrite your existing components trumps the potential efficiencies of adopting a new set of design patterns and affordances. |
