Potholes in Google Maps?

How about adding pothole information in the google maps just like the accident information.

In fact, we can add photos of the potholes too at times.

Waze has it. Google could have added a feature for this a long time ago, but for some reason chose not to.

thanks for that. Yeah, there are two important features in Waze which could be helpful in Google Maps

1. Potholes 2. Road kill (any animal that might get killed on road)

Nice idea btw. Google should add avoid potholes toggle similar to their "avoid tolls". It will help people to avoid the road which contains many potholes.

Also, I noticed a "Object on road" option in the report section. I think that can be of some use.

But a dedicated treatment to the potholes and ability for the city municipality to download this report so that a cities can plan repairs accordingly.

A while ago, Google has kept a mobility report feature during COVID times to know where people are spending their time - helpful for the city management and research purposes.
