I don't have a well-formed opinion one way or the other, but it is interesting to me that this comment made it to the top of HN. By contrast, a submission about Tailscale raising the same amount of money had comments that simply sounded exuberant about the implications (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31259950). Is it just that our anticipation (or foreboding) of the effects of capital infusion is biased by our priors about the company? Or, some other reason? |
