Along with what percentage of internet searches in general would be better served by a user owned and fine tuned InstructGPT model frontend linked to a network of larger backend models of various kinds and generalist specialisations. Perhaps this is something execs also see, hence the hyperaggressive gatekeeping around the tech can more be interpreted as moat dredging rather than genuine corporate concern for "safety".
