As a person that has been dealing with Android programming since version 1.6 I have to say that things got very stable since version 4.4 Kitkat. That's 9 years ago... The ecosystem has improved, and added a bunch of new optional stuff, a new language, a new way of making UIs, etc. Retrocompatibility is still very good. |
