My point is that spending in stupid shit is a much bigger factor than inflation. So Op blaming his problems is just blame shifting. His actual problem is he's shit with money.

No, not Stockholm syndrome. I'm also on 6 figures in one of the most expensive cities in the us, but I stretch my money to the absolute limit. Instead I don't spend in stupid shit.
