I'm not a collector but got myself a couple during the pandemic. Pilot Metropolitan has good reviews and I like it a lot. It's a starter pen from a well-known company and is under $50 on Amazon. I use cartridges pre-filled with ink but also have a refillable container when I run out. I also have one of the Chinese clones of infamous Parker 45, with refillable container. It works pretty well too but I like Pilot better. I find that writing in cursive helps me clear my thoughts, think things through, calm down, almost like meditation. It's pretty cool. There's also a subreddit for fans, with an obvious name.
