wetsuit zipper may have to pull some pretty stretchy rubber closed (assuming a less than ideal fit), may also be subject to stress from a 25-30kg harness, and also deal with sand/mud/grit in the teeth. There are strong functional drivers for large zippers on wetsuits. It isn't just fashion. |
