With Windows RDP it's possible to login in the same session that was started at the phisical machine. Also the physical monitor doesn't wake up upon login and the desktop remains password locked. None of the options I tried on linux could match this features. NoMachine did perform well but having the remote computer in the same room I could see it was mirroring the physical monitor and I could type on the keyboard. It does have a feature to make the screen black and lock inputs but then you're unable to log in from physical even if you know the password |
